One of Beloved's visits to our vet's office was on a rainy, cold, windy day. Coming back to the sanctuary and finding something that wasn't there when you left always takes your breath away.  There by the back door was a carrier.  Sitting in the wind and rain.  Inside was this bewildered and frightened creature.  In this case not even a note.  He was scared and crying.  It was heart breaking.   Couldn't they at least have left him on the covered porch?

His name is now Dustin.  Although he has been here for two months he is still afraid. Not responding to touch.  What is his story? We'll never know.  We do know he is another declawed cat.  His story will, with hope, have  a happy ending - a forever home.
